What a spectacular group of plant photos.they did not take long to display with my dial up either. I am always drawn to the clematis and 'Fairy Blue' took my eye. It was interesting to see the NZ native Kaka beak(clianthus). It is a small shrub and looks fabulous when grown somewhere where its clusters of flowers can hang down. Its common name of kaka beak is named after our beautiful native parrot, now rare because of introduced predators. This drawing of a kaka is taken from a native NZ bird site.
