A short while ago nobody could foretell the advent of Windows 7, then it was let slip by a laptap distributor would be selling machines with Windows 7 before Christmas. Once the 'cat' was out Microsoft quickly confirmed.

Now, muddywellies has seen news that Windows 7 will be available this summer for $50!

I am a beta tester for m$ windows 7 and now up to RC and I have to say that m$ seem to of got it right this time, worth the wait muddywellies.

We are ALL microsoft beta testers I'm afraid and have been for years! Windows Vista is such a disaster that Microsoft can't get its 'beta' replacement (W7) on to the shelves fast enough!
